The Dining Hall
The Dining Hall
The Dining Hall dates from the early 1900s and was designed by a former pupil of the Academy, Arthur Balfour. Although the interior was modified in the 70s, the original layout was mostly retained, as well as the Italianate Renaissance features such as the elaborately carved foliage around the main entrance.
The room effortlessly combines these early features with a full finishing kitchen, making it particularly suitable for any catered events, from lavish dinner occasions to wedding receptions. The Hall also features a raised stage below bay windows, surrounded by timber panelled walls, making it perfect for performances, as a podium space or for a high table overlooking the rest of the assembled guests.
