The Mill's Suite is part of the Donaldson’s Building, constructed at the same time as the main Academy building in the early 1800s. Donaldson’s first incarnation was as the Royal Institute for the Deaf and Dumb, and it has continued as a seat of care and education ever since. When the Academy took over the building, it became the School Chaplain's private house, and the Suite retains some of that feeling today, with the fireplace, portrait-lined walls and wood panelling evoking the atmosphere of a grand living space. This space is well-suited to intimate dinners, board meetings and small gatherings, combining rich architectural heritage with contemporary facilities.
